Welcome to my website!

My name is Joe.

I started playing video games when Atari, NES and Sega were new. Some of my favorite games were the Zelda, Final Fantasy, and RoTK series.

I started playing MMORPGs with a text based game called Gemstone 3 (1996). I started playing the Elder Scrolls series when it first came out, and have played every ES game. I was an extremely active player in EverQuest and EverQuest 2.

I started playing the Elder Scrolls Online shortly after release in 2014. At first I was overwhelmed, like a lot of newer players, but as I started to use my previous experience in MMOs i started to get a handle on the fundamentals. As I started to play with more people and develop relationships, I realized there was not a real good place to help people learn the game.

That is when I decided to start MC_GIJOE Gaming. I have started putting together YouTube videos, and streaming on Twitch.

I have joint custody of my 8 year old son, and together we like to run dungeons. He and I are going to be eventually setting up a forge to recreate some of the weapons and armor we like in ESO.
